Set to premiere on October 15, through tvN and Netflix, "The Queen's Umbrella" transforms Kim Hye Soo into a doting mother and Joseon's queen.

Wife of a legendary King, Queen Im Hwa Ryeong, will do whatever it takes to protect and, at the same time, turn her sons into proper crown princes, despite their reputation of being the palace's troublemakers.

Apart from it, the drama will also showcase her struggles as a reigning queen and mother of her sons.

Joining Kim Hye Soo in "The Queen's Umbrella" is Choi Won Young as King Lee Ho, veteran actress Kim Hae Sook as the King's mother, and Queen Dowager.

Playing the role of crown princes are Moon Sang Min as Prince Seong Nam and SF9's Chani as Prince Ui Seong.

Joining the list of K-dramas that made a massive hype in 2022 is the crime thriller series "Juvenile Justice."

Kim Hye Soo took the role of elite judge Shim Eun Seok who is vocal about how she despises juvenile offenders. Her hate for the young offenders comes after a tragic incident that happened to her family.

The hit drama also stars veteran stars Lee Sung Min as head judge Kang Won Joong and Lee Jung Eun as Na Geun Hee, Won Joong's successor.

In addition, "Juvenile Justice" cast also includes Kim Mu Yeol as Cha Tae Joo, Judge Shim's junior.

Interestingly, following the public's overwhelming response to the drama series, "Juvenile Justice" gets renewed and will return for season 2 in 2024.

'Signal'

Based on the real criminal case that occurred in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province "Signal" follows the story of criminal profiler Park Hae Yeong who finds a walkie-talkie and is able to communicate with the late Detective Lee Jae Han, who lives in the past.

The duo investigates a crime that happened 15 years ago while detective Cha So Hyun, a then rookie police officer set out on a journey to solve cold cases in connection to past crimes.

Kim Hye Soo plays the role of detective Cha So Hyun, who lost her senior colleague, Detective Lee Jae Han, as he worked on a murder case.

"Signal" cast also includes Lee Je Hoon as the criminal profiler Park Hae Yeong and Jo Jin Woong as detective Lee Jae Han.

'Hyena'

Portraying the fearless lawyer Jung Geum Ja, Kim Hye Soo wowed the audience with her team-up with Joo Ji Hoon as they star in "Hyena."

Released in 2020, "Hyena" is helmed by "My Love from the Star" and "Lovers of the Red Sky" director Jang Tae Yoo.
