After a significant drop in episode 3, "Under the Queen's Umbrella" episode 4 scored an average nationwide rating of 9.5 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
Almost hitting a double-digit viewership rating, the fourth episode not only took first place in its time slot across all cable channels but also set a new personal best for the season.
It can be recalled that the highest viewership yet in "Under the Queen's Umbrella" was its second episode with 9.062 percent nationwide.

In "Under the Queen's Umbrella" episode 4, the second-born son, Grand Prince Seongnam, was surprised and devastated to see his brother unconscious in their mother's chamber.
Since he and the Crown Prince had a close bond, he was curious about his brother's illness and how he could help him.
Initially, he was disappointed in his mother for not telling him and his brothers about the Crown Prince's health. However, Queen Im Hwa Ryung explained that it is for their own good and mentioned the late Crown Prince Taein's death.
To prevent this, he used his connection to order someone to look for a physician who has a background in treating the illness same as the Crown Prince.
Interestingly, after paying a huge amount of money, he ended up in Seochon to meet Master Toji.
After convincing him to give details and a possible cure for the Crown Prince's health, he was given a set of new medicine and forbidden to use acupuncture for the patient.
Feeling hopeless about the situation, Queen Im Hwa Ryung ordered the royal physician to follow the instruction and gave the Crown Prince a set of medicinal herbs.
