After their brawl with Jo Han Chul, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young choose to leave the pain behind the past and move forward to a brighter future.

The couple also decide to create meaningful memories by binding their hearts together as one. Here's what went down in the final episode of "The Law Cafe"!

'The Law Cafe' Episode 16: Kim Yu Ri Bares Her Heart To Kim Jeong Ho

Previously, Lee Pyun Woong (Jo Han Chul) has taken Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi) hostage in desperate hopes to escape his impending punishments.

In "The Law Cafe" episode 16, Kim Jeong Ho is rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries from his own uncle. Thankfully, Lee Pyun Woong is put behind bars.

Worried and sick, Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) stays by his side until he's fit to be discharged from the hospital. She also makes sure that Kim Jeong Ho is given all the things he needs for his speedy recovery.

Just when things are seeing the bright light of the day, Han Se Yeon (Kim Seul Gi) and Do Jin Ki, as well as Kim Jeong Ho's own parents, are still struggling to make up, even considering divorce as an option.

Kim Yu Ri's Divorce Consultation and Advice

Although she isn't equipped with skills when it comes to handling divorce cases, Kim Yu Ri wants to help her best friend and Kim Jeong Ho's mother resolve their relationship issues.

She asks the two to come with her to the mall, shopping for dresses in hopes to make them happy. That way, they won't make rash decisions like filing for a divorce.

At the end of the day, Kim Yu Ri's advice greatly helped the two. While Han Se Yeon makes up with her husband, Kim Jeong Ho's mother decides to live separately from Kim Jeong Ho's father for a while to clear the clouded thoughts up.

With this, Kim Yu Ri's thoughts slowly make sense to her: she's afraid to marry Kim Jeong Ho as they might end up getting a divorce in the future.

Fortunately, her romantic feelings for the latter prevailed. Kim Yu Ri then rushes to the law cafe and reveals her true feelings, saying that she wants to marry and be with him for a long time.

Love is the Higher Law

At the end of the episode, the law cafe squad finds their true happiness. Han Se Yeon and Do Jin Ki work things out for their marriage and beloved daughter.

Meanwhile, Seo Eun Gang (Ahn Dong Goo) comes to term with his past and moves forward with a light heart. Bae Joon (Kim Do Hoon) then decides to pursue law school after learning so much from Kim Yu Ri and Kim Jeong Ho; things that he wouldn't learn from the textbooks.

Kim Yu Ri and Kim Jeong Ho then vow to be each other's anchors during their lifetime as they put rings on one another's finger. Their friends, relatives and previous clients are all present at their wedding, congratulating them with a happy heart.

The newlyweds continue to run the law cafe with their skills, calling themselves the angel and the devil of the law.
