Jung Ji Ahn, Byun Woo Min, More To Reprise Roles in New Season of Lee Sung Kyung’s ‘Dr Romantic’
SBS TV's "Dr. Romantic" is gearing up to return to the small screen with its much anticipated third installment! While many stars from the first and second seasons have confirmed their appearance, the production unit of the upcoming series names the additional cast members who will join the team to strengthen the drama.
'Dr. Romantic' Welcomes Jung Ji Ahn, Byun Woo Min, More To Ensemble
Following the news of "Dr. Romantic 3" production team names the additional stars who will join the lineup to strengthen the series!
"Dr. Romantic" depicts the lives of medical practitioners inside and outside the premises of the hospital. The first and second seasons of the series which aired in 2016 and 2020, respectively, received a lot of love from the public, achieving 27% average nationwide ratings.
Season 2 stars Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop will headline the third installment, while Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin from Season 1 will join the drama with supporting roles. Meanwhile, Han Seok Gyu, who appeared in both seasons, will also reprise his role.
On November 2, the production unit announced the additional lineup for the drama which includes actors Jung Ji Ahn, Byun Woo Min and Im Won Hee.

Jung Ji Ahn, who appeared in the series "Shooting Stars," reunites with Lee Sung Kyung in "Dr. Romantic 3" as Uhm Hyun Jung, a nurse at Doldam Hospital. She's a passionate aide who will deliver a comforting presence in the series, raising expectations.
On the other hand, Byun Woo Min reprises his role as Nam Do Il in the third season of the series. He recently appeared in the series "It's Beautiful Now," which heightens viewers' anticipation to his performance.
Last but not the least, Im Won Hee, who appeared in Season 2, returns as Jang Ki Tae, the chief of the administration of Doldam Hospital. He is expected to showcase his intense chemistry with his co-stars, especially Han Seok Gyu.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Release Date and What To Expect
With the blockbuster success of Seasons 1 and 2, the third season of "Dr. Romantic" is predicted to also enjoy the same level of popularity.
The drama is expected to be released in the first half of 2023, boasting a new intriguing narrative delivered by the star-studded cast of Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Han Seok Gyu, Lee Shin Young and more.

At the moment, the production unit and cast of "Dr. Romantic" is busy filming under the supervision of scriptwriters Kang Eun Kyung and Lim Hye Min and director Yoo In Suk.
