As the rom-com series aired its second episode, the new tvN drama retained the same viewership rating as its pilot episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, "Behind Every Star" episode 2 scored a nationwide viewership rating of 3.609 percent.

Based on the French TV series "Call My Agent!" the Korean remake had outs premiere on November 7 and is set to air until December 12.

"Behind Every Star" is a 12-part episode K-drama that highlights the life of people behind the camera, particularly managers and agents of celebrities.

Kwak Sun Young and Seo Hyun Woo played top star managers Chun Je In and Kim Jung Don while Lee Seo Jin took the role of Director Ma Tae Oh.

In the K-drama, Joo Hyun Young portrayed assistant agent So Hyun Joo who is a newbie in the industry.

Airing every Monday and Tuesday, "Behind Every Star" airs via tvN and Netflix for subtitles.

'Behind Every Star' Episode 2 Recap

The second episode starts with the Method Entertainment staff as well as their talents mourning over the passing of CEO Wang Tae Ja who built the agency from scratch.

Celebrities like Lee Hee Joon and Jin Seon Kyu were deeply saddened by his death the CEO played a big role in their career.

Due to the CEO's untimely death, Lee Hee Joon had a hard time coping and tells manager Chun Je In that he has to pause for his new film.

Chun Je In tried to explain the cons of skipping the offer, especially since he already said yes to the director.

Lo and behold, Jin Seon Kyu got the part, leaving Lee Hee Joon hanging. He learned that his supposed role was given to his rival Seon Kyu which made him furious.

The incident led Chun Je In and Kim Jung Don in hot waters after Director ma discovered that it was their fault.

Trying to fix their mess, they pitched a possible plot to the director and for them to cast the two top stars, they will portray a different relationship.

On the other hand, So Hyun Joo found a new friend through Go Eun Gyeol, a budding actor who is also a talent under Method Entertainment.

Unfortunately, after they got close, Hyun Joo learned that he is the son of Director Ma.

With this, the director tells Hyun Joo to stay away from his son and not to ruin their family.
