'Encounter'
In the drama "Encounter," Jang Seung Jo and Song Hye Kyo portrayed a couple who was trapped in an arranged marriage. At the beginning, they look off and cold to one another, especially when the latter falls in love with another man.
However, fans become more heartbroken as the story progressed; learning that Jang Seung Jo was in love with Song Hye Kyo from the beginning.

The two agree to do their best in pursuing the female lead. Go Kyung Pyo succeeds but only for a short while as Gong Hyo Jin realizes that she's truly in love with someone else.
Go Kyung Pyo is then stuck in a loop filled with pain and regret while the woman of his dreams is in another man's arms.
'Hotel del Luna'
When it comes to unforgettable, heartache-inducing romances, "Hotel del Luna" is always on the list! Despite its comedic and fantasy elements, the drama also features the backstory of IU and Lee Do Hyun.
Lee Do Hyun was the reason why IU attained immortal life in the first place, and why she was stuck inside the magical hotel for a long time. Ages ago, IU transformed Lee Do Hyun into a faint breeze after she made a mistake due to anger and pain.

Who can move on from the pain brought by a loved one's sudden demise? In "One Dollar Lawyer," Namgoong Min and Lee Chung Ah's romance story brings regret to its viewers.
In one of its episodes, the two were revealed to be enemies at first, eager to one-up each other. However, their rivalry grew into romance, so intense that they almost said their "I dos" in front of the altar.
But because of a tragic incident, Lee Chung Ah faces her sudden demise, leaving Namgoong Min alone with a hollow feeling.
