tvN's "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" is finally making its television debut this Christmas!
Starring Lee Jae Wook, Go Yoon Jung, Hwang Minhyun, Shin Seung Ho and more, the second part of the blockbuster drama is about to deliver a new magical story; the fates of people whose lives become entangled due to magic that swaps people's souls.
On November 10, a month before the drama's premiere, the production unit of "Alchemy of Souls" unveiled its much anticipated teaser which features lead actor Lee Jae Wook.
The teaser begins with Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) rising above from the ashes, reminiscent of a phoenix. Because of what happened between the people of Songrim and the shadow assassin Naksu (Jung So Min), the whole place is in chaos.
In Part 1, Jang Uk is a carefree, easy-going mage but in the new installment of the drama, he is nothing but the embodiment of grief and pain. The next scene then boasts the drama's high scale work with its gravity-defying action stunts and powerful magic.
A mysterious woman dressed in white also teases the fans whether it is Mudeok (Jung So Min) and Naksu (Go Yoon Jung), curiosity amplified. The teaser ends as Jang Uk declares war, saying, "If I serve as justification, then no one in this place shall live."
