‘Revenge of Others’ Episode 1: Shin Ye Eun Believes There’s Foul Play In Her Brother’s Death

Disney+'s thriller drama "Revenge of Others'' episode 1 is packed with a series of fiery events revolving around Ok Chan Gu's death and the investigation of his sister, Ok Chan Mi (Shin Ye Eun). beginning with the desire of taking revenge.

'Revenge of Others' Episode 1: Ok Chan Mi Seeks Truth Behind Her Brother's Death

Ok Chan Mi was in a conversation with her brother Ok Chang Gu when suddenly, someone held her. The next thing happened, her brother was already falling down the window, causing him to die.

The tragedy always haunted Chan Mi even during one of her shooting competitions. She can't help but think about her brother. After she competed, Chan Mi went to Seoul and investigate what happened to Chan Gu and received news of his suicide.

She broke down seeing her brother's ashes kept next to his picture. Chan Mi tried to communicate with Chan Gu's adopted parents, but they only bragged about the humiliation they faced due to his suicide.

Ok Chan Mi rushed to the police station and looked for the person in charge of her brother's case and explained that Chan Gu met someone before he died. She believes that there was foul play happened and murdered her brother.

However, no matter how much she voiced her assumptions, the head investigator didn't believe her.

Due to it, Chan Mi started to take the matters into her own hands.

Ji Soo Heon's Unfortunate Meeting With Ok Chan Mi

On the other hand, Ji Soo Heon (Lomon), an ordinary part-timer who supports himself and the treatment of his mother, who is admitted to a nursing home was involved in an accident. He fainted in the middle of the road, and passersby helped him to the hospital.

While in the middle of a discussion with the doctor, he remembered his bike and found out it had been stolen. He searched for it, while elsewhere, Chan Mi arrived in Seoul and ended up buying Soo Heon's stolen bike from someone.

The two get into a dispute until Chan Mi finds an opportunity and runs away. Soo Heon followed her and discovered that the thieves had come to steal the bike again to resell it. While fighting with them, he was hit on the head making them escape.

Fortunately, Chan Mi saved him, and the two called it a truce.

Ok Chan Mi enrolled in her brother's school and she kept on bumping with Ji Soo Heon. Only to find out that he also studies on the same campus as her. They became the topic of discussion after Chan Mi was found wearing Soo Heon's blazer, which he lent her after she fell into a garbage dump.

Ok Chan Mi Gets Suspicious of Ji Soo Heon

Hence, her investigation continued, and got the number of her brother's girlfriend. She tried to call it and discovered it belonged to Ji Soo Heon. She then followed him after classes and into a hospital and overheard from the doctor that he has a brain tumor learned he only has 6 months to live as there was no chance of him getting surgery due to the location of the tumor.

Ji Soo Heon didn't come to school until a random day Chan Mi saw him in the room where the incident with her brother happened. He told her that he saw Chan Gu falling from the wisdom and was the one who contacted the police.
