Park Jae Bum Considering To Reunite With Song Joong Ki For ‘Vincenzo’ Season 2

K-drama fans were delighted when "Vincenzo" trends on social media after scriptwriter Park Jae Bum mentioned in his interview the possibility of having a second sequel of the famous series.

Park Jae Bum Shares How He Works on Writing Scripts

Screenwriter Park Jae Bum recently went to Taiwan, where he was invited to give a lecture at the Golden Horse Film Master Class.

Being known in the industry, Park Jae Bum shared his working process during his talk. He was asked various questions that hinted at his possible reunion with his colleagues, particularly actors.

He distinguished how the process of film and television production evolved through the years. According to him, before it was mostly carried out in the form of filming and broadcasting. However, as the Labor Law was revised, he could not stay up late to film because the script must be written quickly.

Park Jae Bum wanted the audience to know how the industry works in the present. Someone asked if he usually refers to the viewers' comments when writing a script, and he bluntly said that he actually does not read it.

He further explained that most of the time he asks his assistants to compile and filter the script after reading it and provide him with opinions that are a big help to the script. He added that there's no way to satisfy everyone's preferences so they need to choose immediately what to do.

As the talk continued, Park Jae Bum shared that his works are inspired by life. He said that the social atmosphere is very chaotic and Korean screenwriters are very concerned about social issues. They are all sensitive and have a sense of mission.

Meanwhile, the conversation shifted, and he was asked about the sequel of his previous works. Park Jae Bum, on the other hand, generously shared that he wants to collaborate with Kim Nam Gil of the "The Fiery Priest."

In addition, he also wanted to film with Song Joong Ki. The two know each other very well and often makes appointments for tea and chat.

When asked if there is a possibility of a sequel for "Vincenzo," Park Jae Bum enthusiastically said that he has been considering it all the time and he also admitted that he privately talked with Song Joong Ki about it.
