Jung Chaeyeon Dishes Out Career Plans As Actress

After the conclusion of "Golden Spoon," singer-actress Jung Chaeyeon talked about her future career plans moving forward as an actress!

"Golden Spoon," which depicts the story of a poor son who's reborn into a rich family, ended on November 12 and received an average rating of 5.8% nationwide.

Jung Chaeyeon decorated the drama along with fellow idol-actors Yook Sungjae, Yeonwoo and Lee Jong Won. Through the series, she gained a bigger fan base from all over the world.

After the disbandment of her group DIA, Jung Chaeyeon focused on becoming a full-fledged actress. She wishes to continue acting for a long time, and diversify her filmography as she takes the colorful path of acting.

In the future, Jung Chaeyeon wants to challenge herself with the horror and action genre. As for her dream actor that she wants to work with, the singer-actress listed down her BH Entertainment labelmates.

Jung Chaeyeon picked senior actors Jun Jihyun, Son Ye Jin and Han Hyo Joo as her role models. She grew up looking up to these actors who allowed her to dream of living multiple lives as actress.

"I promise to meet the public with greater works as well as a cooler image in the future," Jung Chaeyeon guaranteed, raising expectations.

Jung Chaeyeon Shares Thoughts On 'Golden Spoon' Co-Star Yeonwoo

In "Golden Spoon," Jung Chaeyeon worked alongside fellow idol-turned-actress Yeonwoo. When asked about her thoughts on the latter, she said nothing but greatness.

"Yeonwoo is such a versatile actress but despite playing a lot of innocent roles, she can still pull off the sultry and sensual roles," Jung Chaeyeon said, praising her co-star.

Yeonwoo also underwent major hairstyle changes in "Golden Spoon." The actress let go of her long locks and rocked the bobbed hair with full bangs.

Jung Chaeyeon admired her courage, saying, "I could never do that because I'm afraid it wouldn't suit me. I'm really jealous of eonni [older sister]."
