Lee Jae Wook Dishes Out Raw Emotions About 'Alchemy of Souls'

In a brief interview with 1st Look Korea, Lee Jae Wook touched on "Alchemy of Souls," his difficulties as an actor and more!

This December, Lee Jae Wook returns to the small screen with the second part of "Alchemy of Souls," which is set three years after Part 1. Lee Jae Wook revealed that he had one week to reorganize his schedules after the first part ended.

"After finishing all of my activities, the week passed by like a blur," Lee Jae Wook admitted. "I think I was overwhelmed to portray Jang Uk three years later."

Lee Jae Wook confessed that he had difficulties in immersing with his character, Jang Uk, who drastically changed compared to the first part. According to him, the process of analyzing his character was a challenge.

Thankfully, he was able to overcome it. Lee Jae Wook then talked about his similarities between him and his acting role. He stated, "Jang Uk drinks by himself in one of the scenes. I also occasionally drink by myself, too."

"When I need to fix something, I take my time to look back and go over it until I'm satisfied," he reasoned. "In retrospect, I think Jang Uk and I have a lot in common."
