'Alchemy of Souls' Reveals Lee Jae Wook & Go Yoon Jung's Main Poster

Weeks ahead of the premiere, "Alchemy of Souls Part 2" has released a new enticing poster of Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung!

After tvN shared a sneak peek of the two actors' characters, "Alchemy of Souls" captivates the viewers with a new couple poster which introduces what Part 2 has in store for avid viewers.

Penned by the Hong Sisters, "Alchemy of Souls" follows the magical story of a powerful mage and a shadow assassin who meet due to the sorcery that shifts people's souls. Part 1 of the series dominated the entertainment scene last summer.

This winter, "Alchemy of Souls" is gearing to retell the romantic yet tragic story of Jang Uk and Naksu, played by Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung, respectively, three years after their relationship's demise.

Previously, Jung So Min headlined the series with Lee Jae Wook. This time, Go Yoon Jung will take on the main role as she inhabited the former's body in Part 1.

The newly published poster features Jang Uk and Naksu's eerie and unreadable relationship. Jang Uk stares at the abyss with sharp and intense gaze while Naksu sports a sullen look.

He kisses her wrist while her hands rest on his shoulder, focusing on the mysterious bracelet around Naksu's wrist. The poster is a great prelude to their relationship; a glimpse of what will be seen in the second part of the drama.

In addition to that, the text on the poster reads "You're the only one who shines in my darkness," only amplifies the viewers' excitement and expectations.

'Alchemy of Souls Part 2' Criticized For Cliche Plot

Even before the premiere of the series, "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" is already stirring buzz!

In Part 2, the production unit hinted at Naksu's lost memories. "I don't remember you" was written in her individual poster, which made viewers raise their eyebrows.

The lost memories concept was claimed to be cliche, a complete and total opposite of the unique and complex storyline of the whole franchise. Many fans believe that this could make or break the narrative.
