Bae In Hyuk Manages Works on Multiple Projects This 2022

Bae In Hyuk, who has been working non-stop this year, shared in his recent interview what it was like to work with veteran actress Kim Hye Soo and other big stars.

The actor has been booked and busy for the whole year, kicking off 2022 with the legal-revenge series "Why Her?" down to his ongoing drama "Cheer Up."

Bae In Hyuk made a short but memorable participation in the popular historical series "Under the Queen's Umbrella," where he played the crown prince.

According to the actor, because he was filming "Cheer Up" and the film "Ditto" at the same time, he only had one or two hours of sleep before going to the filming set.

"Since the crown prince was sick, most of my scenes were lying down. To the extent where I only spent the entire day lying down on set."

Bae In Hyuk also revealed about working with actresses Kim Hye Soo and Kim Hae Sook. He said that even though both have untouchable auras, his veteran co-stars approached him and started a conversation first, so he did not feel awkward.

Bae In Hyuk recalled his cute moments with on-screen mother Kim Hye Soo:

"Even behind the camera, she called me 'son,' and made me feel comfortable."

Bae In Hyuk Chooses Favorite Character From Past Dramas

The actor has played several roles that were all coming of age in different ways: Soo Hyun in "At a Distance, Spring is Green," Sun Woo in "My Roommate is a Gumiho," Yoon Sang in "Why Her?," and Jung Woo in the ongoing series "Cheer Up."

Bae In Hyuk explained though the characters were all of similar ages, each of them is a unique, fleshed-out character with his own specific life and circumstances. 

He confessed that among the roles he portrayed, Yoon Sang is his favorite. Bae In Hyuk explained that even though the drama already ended, he regrets his performance in the series and hopes to play it one more time.
