Interestingly, apart from the twists and turns in the romance-comedy series, the viewership rating experienced a minimal increase for the latest episode.
'Behind Every Star' Viewership + Where To Watch the Drama
According to Nielsen Korea, "Behind Every Star" episode 8 viewership climbed to 3.5 percent for its nationwide average rating.
It is a 1.0 percent increase from its previous episode, however, the show struggles to keep its ratings up since its premiere.
Based on the French TV series "Call My Agent!" the show focuses on the lives of people working behind the cam, specifically celebrity agents who were responsible for the image and upcoming projects of the star.
The Korean remake focuses on Method Entertainment and the staff behind it. It will showcase the ups and downs of being an agent while keeping their clients happy.
Lee Seo Jin took the role of Method Entertainment's director Ma Tae Oh. Joining him are senior managers Chu Je In (Kwak Sun Young) and Seo Hyun Woo as Kim Joong Don.
In addition, Joo Hyun Young took on the character of newbie agent So Hyun Joo and Ma tae Oh's daughter.
Interestingly, "Behind Every Star" episode 9 is set to air on December 5, via tvN and Netflix for subtitles.
'Behind Every Star' Episode 8 Recap
Method Entertainment faces a lot of changes as the new management is headed by Koo Hae Jun (Heo Sung Tae).
After being introduced by Chu Je In, the businessman is now the major shareholder of the talent agency.
Despite feeling devastated after Je In lied to him, he still signed under Method Entertainment. That is because Chun Je In showed how she cares about her talents.
On the other hand, a senior employee gets fired in Method Entertainment. Mr. Koo has decided to let go of Jang Myung Ae because he thinks that she is a liability to the company.
It came after his assistant asked So Hyun Joo about an employee whom she thinks is a slacker and dropped director Jang Myung Ae's name.
