‘Summer Strike’ Episode 4: Seolhyun Warms Up To Im Siwan & Other Angok Villagers

'Summer Strike' Episode 4: Lee Yeo Reum Loses All Her Hard-Earned Money

After receiving hostility from the residents of Angok, Lee Yeo Reum (Seolhyun) is starting to blend in and warms up to them.

In episode 4, Lee Yeo Reum begins her day with a heartache. She receives a bank statement saying that her bank account was washed out, leaving nothing in it.

She later realizes that she cashed out all of her money the other night after drowning herself with alcohol.

To find out what happened, she checks the CCTV footage of the ATM and sees that she was with Ahn Dae Beom (Im Siwan).

It is revealed that Ahn Dae Beom followed Lee Yeo Reum around because he was worried about the newcomer who's clearly in her drunken state.

Ashamed of her embarrassing stunts the previous night, she desperately begs Ahn Dae Beom to return the bag of money to her. However, the location of the bag was unknown.

Ahn Dae Beom Finds The Bag of Cash

Lee Yeo Reum searches through the trash all over town. She even alarmed the other residents in the town.

A few moments later, Ahn Dae Beom appears with the money, saying that he mistakenly took the bag home. Lee Yeo Reum becomes furious as her efforts were all for naught.

Unbeknownst to the other, Ahn Dae Beom combed Angok just to find the money. Bae Sung Min's (Kwak Min Gyu) son Bae Joon (Kim Joon) accidentally took the bag of money.

Ahn Dae Beom lied to protect the child from Lee Yeo Reum. Bae Sung Min, who once mistreated the newcomer, expressed his regret and apologies to her by bringing all sorts of household goods to her room.

Lee Yeo Reum then realizes that the town villagers also have their good sides. She regrets accusing Kim Bom (Shin Eun Soo) of taking the money, and apologizes.

Lee Yeo Reum Welcomes Angok Residents To Her Humble Home

Meanwhile, the adorable Bae Joon opens his piggy bank at home to buy Lee Yeo Reum pizza as a peace offering and housewarming gift.

Lee Yeo Reum's small billiard room was decorated by the residents' simple gifts. Kim Bom's friend Heo Jae Hoon (Bang Jae Min) also joined the small gathering.

Thanks to them, Lee Yeo Reum feels a little less sad than usual, relishing the warmth that the residents brought inside her new home.

At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the small billiard room that Lee Yeo Reum resides in was Ahn Dae Beom's childhood home before, raising anticipation for the forthcoming episodes.
