‘Alchemy of Souls’ Episode 21: Go Yoon Jung Wishes To Marry Lee Jae Wook

'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 21: Jin Bu Yeon Meets Jang Uk
Set three years after Part 1, "Alchemy of Souls" episode 21 begins with an eerie atmosphere.
Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook), who has risen from the dead through the power of ice stone, atones his existence by killing the soul shifters that had run wild.
Because of what happened three years ago, he became a lone man. The people of Daeho avoid crossing paths with him as the ice stone makes him prone to wraiths, the ghosts of the soul shifters who want to claim the ice stone from him.
When a soul shifter hides in Jinyowon, Jang Uk rushes to the place and kills it. However, he accidentally opens the door to the annex room where Jin Bu Yeon (Go Yoon Jung) stays.
Unbeknownst to him, the woman and soul inside her body was Naksu, his master and lover.
The Four Seasons of Daeho
After Mu Deok (Jung So Min) ran wild, nothing was ever the same in Daeho. Jin Cho Yeon (Oh My Girl Arin) and Park Dang Gu's (Yoo In Soo) marriage didn't push through.
With this, Park Dang Gu held grudges against Jang Uk even after he assumed the position as the Songrim leader.
Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) focused on his life at Seoho Fortress and Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) still stays vigilant around the true heir to the throne which is Jang Uk.
Jin Bu Yeon Meets Jang Uk
Jin Bu Yeon is more than elated to see Jang Uk in her room as she sees him as her key to escape Jinyowon.
For three years, she is kept like a secret, especially to the people of Songrim. The Jin clan even closed Jinyowon from outsiders.

Jin Bu Yeon and Jin Cho Yeon's mother wish to have a new heir as the future leader of the clan, and because of this, she forces Jin Bu Yeon to marry Seo Yul's uncle.
The first born daughters of the Jin clan are always the most powerful priestesses with the most powerful spells. However, she didn't want any of this.
Jin Bu Yeon then escapes her room and asks Jang Uk to marry her. While Jang Uk refuses her proposal, he learns that Jin Bu Yeon is the only way to remove the ice stone in his body.
Jang Uk Saves Jin Bu Yeon
The day Jang Uk decides to remove the ice stone inside of him is the day he dies for the last time. And the key to this plan is Jin Bu Yeon.

Although he hasn't thoroughly thought about it yet, he decides that he needs Jin Bu Yeon by his side in the meantime.
On her way to her wedding ceremony, Jin Bu Yeon is summoned by Jang Uk. She jumps onto him in glee, taking it as a sign of their marriage.
