Oh Ye Ju shared comments on the idea of her and her previous on-screen partner Moon Sang Min headlining the remake of the famous K-drama "Princess Hours."

After wrapping up the record-breaking historical series "Under the Queen's Umbrella," young star Oh Ye Ju participated in an exclusive interview. During the conversation, the actress was asked to share thoughts about the idea of her and Moon Sang Min, appearing in the "Princess Hours" remake. 

Oh Ye Ju was born in 2004 and during the interview, she revealed that she had no idea about the famous K-drama mentioned. She even asked if "Princess Hours" is also a historical series.

She explained that there are a lot of people who have been talking about the remake of the romance drama and even told her about it. However, she gets honest and said that she has no idea what "Princess Hours" is. 

But due to the popularity of her newly-concluded drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" and her chemistry with Moon Sang Min, people have been looking forward to seeing her and her former on-screen partner, take part in the remake version.

Though she is yet to know more about the hit 2006 Korean series, Oh Ye Ju was amazed by the idea of people wishing the Seongnam-Chungha couple would star in the new adaptation of "Princess Hours."

Candidates For Potential Roles in the Upcoming 'Princess Hours' Remake

2021 when the news broke out that the "Princess Hours" remake was finally under discussion. Some potential actors and actresses were voted as candidates for respective characters. 

In October last year, the production team of the series dropped names of the possible stars who will appear in the project. Since the fans were overly excited, the production pushed to have a new version of the drama due to the increasing demand from the public on social media. 

One of the producers of the series shared, because of the hype of the drama itself, fans and K-drama viewers all across the globe began to cast their votes on who they wanted to play the lead roles.

According to the poll created, the public nominated Suzy, Kim Yoo Jung, Kim So Hyun, Park Bo Young, and Kim Hye Yoon to take Shin Chae Kyung's role, which was previously played by Yoon Eun Hye.

For Lee Shin, which was originally portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, fans see potential in Hwang In Yeop, Lee Do Hyun, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Young Dae, Park Bo Gum, and Song Kang.

Kim Young Bae, the Head of content production of Group Eight, a drama production house shared that Na In Woo and Rowoon might be perfect to play Lee Yul. Meanwhile, Han So Hee and Go Min Si are a match to portray Min Hyo Rin.
