In episode 8, Lee Yeo Reum, Ahn Dae Beom, Kim Bom (Shin Eun Soo) and Heo Jae Hoon (Bang Jae Min) go on a healing trip together.

In the next scene, Lee Yeo Reum expresses her attraction to Ahn Dae Beom. When she first came to Angok, she was frantic and lost. But when she met the librarian, she felt a different sense of security and comfort.
At the same time, Ahn Dae Beom also noticed the changes in his personality. When he met Lee Yeo Reum, he loosened up and became happier even a bit. He also enjoyed interacting with others once again.
With each other's presence, Lee Yeo Reum and Ahn Dae Beom become better people. Though she wants to make her feelings known, she feels remorse after reactivating the trauma that the latter has experienced, his grief and loss.
Romance Spreads in the Humble Village of Angok
Back in the village, Lee Yeo Reum goes out of her way just to avoid Ahn Dae Beom as the fear of liking the man even more intensifies. A little later, she changes her mind and finally confesses.
Thankfully, the feeling is mutual. Lee Yeo Reum and Ahn Dae Beom raise excitement as they bask in each other's warmth, sending a heart-fluttering feeling to the viewers.
