On December 9, the newest saeguk on weekend primetime officially premiered. MBC introduces Kim Young Dae, Park Ju Hyun, and Kim Woo Seok as the newest team to occupy Friday and Saturday nights.
In the pilot week of the historical-romance series, Ye So Rang began to feel differently about King Lee Heon after seeing him cry because of grief for his late wife Ju Yeon, the crown princess.

Apart from that, So Rang began to feel guilty for conning him. She tried to comfort him during his lonely days, but it just made her feel worse toward the king. They even touched hands and had intimate eye contact even though they barely knew each other.
Continuing the progress in their relationship, this week, more sweet moments are about to happen between the drama's main leads.

Ahead of its broadcast on December 16, MBC gave teaser photos on what to anticipate in the upcoming "The Forbidden Marriage" episode 3. In the stills provided, Lee Heon and So Rang's relationship takes a dramatic change as they get even closer.

In another picture, So Rang is drying off the shirtless King Lee Heon after he falls into the water. He was immediately caught off guard by So Rang's boldness. Interestingly, the two end up sharing a kiss inside the palace. This already sparks romance between the best conman, Ye So Rang and Lee Heon.
To give viewers a hint, the drama's producers shared that in episode 3, Lee Heon and Ye So Rang's tricky encounters will resume. Watch out for how things between the two leads will change.
Meanwhile, "The Forbidden Marriage" made an impressive start and successfully recorded an average score of 4.6 percent in viewership rating during episode 1. However, it had a decrease in rating during episode 2.
