Netflix produced some of the best Korean content this year. 2022 was another memorable year for Korean dramas and Korean content in general as most of these were released on Netflix. It has been said that the giant streaming platform that over 60% of their users watched Korean content this year.

And as the year comes to an end, these are the 10 best K-dramas of 2022 that created a buzz and are loved by many. Though these series officially ended, you can still binge-watch them anytime you want!

1. 'All of Us Are Dead'

Viewers who love zombie-themed series will enjoy watching this group of teenagers, who were trapped in school amid a mysterious virus outbreak. Based on a webtoon "Now at Our School," this drama adaptation garnered attention from international audiences, and rookie actors who starred in the series immediately rose to stardom.

2. 'Business Proposal'

This webtoon-based series is one of the most buzzworthy K-dramas released in the first half of 2022. It follows the story of Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong), a young food researcher who takes her best friend's place on a blind date for an arranged marriage. It turns out that her blind date is Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop), the CEO of the company where she works for.

3. 'Juvenile Justice'

Award-winning actress Kim Hye Soo welcomed 2022 with this legal series. She takes the role of Sim Eun Seok, a newly appointed judge at a juvenile court. She despises juvenile criminals who arrive at court, where she takes on a complex role examining punishment for young offenders.

4. 'The Sound of Magic'

Starring Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, and Hwang In Yeop. This is an emotional music drama that follows the story of Yoon Ah Yi, a poor student, who has diminished her belief in magic, which she had a passion for when she was younger. She then meets a magician living in an abandoned park who makes troubles disappear and gives her hope in life.

5. 'Thirty-Nine'

Before she made a hiatus in the entertainment realm, Son Ye Jin starred in this series where the story revolves around the life, friendship, romances, and love of three friends who are about to enter their forties. Joining her in the drama are Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun.

6. 'Twenty Five, Twenty One'

A tear-jerker but full-of-life lessons series which stars Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri. It tells the story of Na Hee Do, a high school student who dreams of becoming an Olympian fencer, and her blossoming romance with Baek Yi Jin, a student forced to drop out of college due to the financial status of his family.

7. 'Once Upon A Small Town'

Introduces the journey of a city veterinarian-who moves to the countryside where he meets a policewoman, a town insider with a friendly secret. This marked Red Velvet Joy's comeback drama alongside the new Korean heartthrob Choo Young Woo.

8. 'Narco Saints'

This follows the story of Kang In Gu, a businessman struggling to make ends meet for his family. He finds hope when his friend Park Eung Soo arrives and offers him to join forces in his lucrative business and become part of the NIS team to catch the Korean drug lord.

9. 'Our Blues'

It foretells the sweet and bitter lives of people at the end, middle, or beginning of life, and follows their interesting stories in an omnibus format against the backdrop of Jeju Island.

10. 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'

Starring Park Eun Bin, Kang Tae Oh, and Kang Ki Young, and tells the story of an autistic lawyer, Woo Young Woo, who thrives inside the courtroom, to fight injustices and discrimination.
