Hyun Bin Stunned by ‘The Point Men' Co-Star Hwang Jung Min’s Question Regarding Son Ye Jin

Hyun Bin didn't expect the question of "The Point Men" co-star Hwang Jung Min that involved his wife Son Ye Jin.

The two South Korean top stars graced the press conference for their upcoming movie held on December 20 at the Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

After the success of his comeback film "Confidential Assignment 2: International" with the equally stunning Daniel Henney and award-winning actor Yoo Hae Jin, Hyun Bin returns with another highly anticipated movie along with the talented Hwang Jung Min.

For "The Point Men," the 40-year-old heartthrob surprised the crowd with his new image.

Far from his pretty boy aura, Hyun Bin arrived at the press conference with a rugged look complete with a mustache and beard, highlighting his manly features.

Interestingly, it is way different from his usual clean and sleek vibe as viewers and fans often see in his dramas and endorsement.

That is because Hyun Bin transformed into a NIS agent Park Dae Sik who is working together with Korean Diplomat Jung Jae Ho in "The Point Men."

Based on a true story depicting the Korean hostage crisis in Afghanistan. The government sent Jung Jae Ho to handle the crisis given that he is among the top-notch and skilled diplomats in the country.

Together with him in the crucial mission is NIS agent Park Dae Sik, who is a special agent and expert on the Middle East crisis.

Hwang Jung Min's Revelation Surprises 'The Point Men' Co-Star Hyun Bin

From surprising fans with his unrecognizable transformation, it was Hyun Bin who was stunned by his co-star's comment about Son Ye Jin.

According to a media outlet, the top star was asked if Hyun Bin's wife, Son Ye Jin gave him advice or tips on how to play the role of negotiator since the actress also portrayed a similar character in the 2018 movie "The Negotiation" where he and the actress first worked together.

Hyun Bin responded and said that the new mom didn't give him any advice. However, what surprised him is Hwang Jung Min's revelation during the press conference.

"Weren't you dating her (Son Ye Jin) when you were filming 'The Negotiation'?" He asked, in which Hyun Bin denied but explained they were not dating at the time.

Interestingly, Hyun Bin joked, "For a moment, I thought you were a reporter," making the whole room laugh.

Besides the two top stars, the upcoming action movie also includes "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star Kang Ki Yong as one of the lead stars.

"The Point Men" is scheduled to hit theaters on January 18, 2023, directed by Im Soon Rye of "Little Forest" and "The Whistleblower."
