‘Alchemy of Souls Part 2’ Successfully Wins Viewers’ Hearts — Here’s What To Expect From Remaining Episodes

Though "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" received polarizing opinions with the sudden female lead change, Go Yoon Jung and the whole cast of the series manages to win the hearts of the viewers with its succeeding episodes.

The second part of the whole franchise only contains 10 episodes and here is what to expect from its remaining installments!

'Alchemy of Souls Part 2' Receives Praises From Viewers

tvN's "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" broke the entertainment scene after it surpassed viewers' expectations despite the rocky beginning earlier this December!

Part 2 of the drama is led by Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung, who replaced Jung So Min from Part 1, and it depicts the story of a mourning man who falls in love with the reincarnation of his first love.

During the premiere of the series, many fans expressed their disappointment about the lackluster production of the drama as well as Go Yoon Jung's "dull" performance.

However, everything changed after Part 2 aired its first half. With only four episodes, the drama managed to turn the tables and successfully tied the loose ends of Part 1.

The criticisms turned to praises, and the drama even recorded a score of 8.4% nationwide rating with its latest episode.

In particular, Go Yoon Jung also changed the perception of the viewers with her synchronization with her character. She showed her girl crush charisma with her cameo appearance in Part 1 and displayed her ethereal glow and more feminine side in Part 2.

Attention is focused on Go Yoon Jung and how she will once again capture the hearts of the viewers just like how she did in Part 1. In addition to that, her intensified chemistry with Lee Jae Wook also arouses talk.

What To Expect From Remaining Episodes of 'Alchemy of Souls Part 2'

As "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" enters its second half of broadcast, many questions are posed as to what kind of ending Go Yoon Jung and Lee Jae Wook will have.

Despite the main couple not remembering their past, it is expected that the two will regain their memories of one another before the drama ends.

The viewers also expect the drama to fill in all the loopholes from Part 1 that are still an enigma to everyone.

Even more so, the friendship between the main cast including Lee Jae Wook, Go Yoon Jung, Shin Seung Ho, Hwang Minhyun, Yoo In Soo and Oh My Girl Arin is also one of the elements to look forward to in the end of the series.
