In the first half of 2022, it was announced that one of the known storylines is getting a second season. "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" follows the story of Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young), a woman born with superhuman strength that comes from the long line of women possessing it. She meets Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik), the CEO of ainsoft, a gaming company, who witnesses her strength and hires her as his personal bodyguard.
What To Anticipate From 'Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon'
Based on the released reports, the second sequel will focus on Bong Soon's cousin with the same abilities. It will be under a new title, "Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon," but it will not continue the storyline of Bong Soon and Min Hyuk after the finale. Instead, viewers will meet Kang Nam Soon, the distant cousin of Bong Soon, who possesses the same strength.

To begin with, the character goes missing and finds herself returning to Gangnam for answers. Though her mother, Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun) is rich and lives a good life, she has been struggling to find her lost daughter.
In addition, the sequel will showcase the reality of drug crimes and distribution in Gangnam. Detective Kang Hee Sik leads a secret investigative team that tracks down the people who use drugs in the city. He also becomes Nam Soon's crush.
'Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon' Cast: Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, & Byeon Woo Seok
The series is also packed with fresh stars. Leading the drama is "Squid Game" actress Lee Yoo Mi who will immerse herself in the character of Kang Nam Soon. Joining her is singer-actor Ong Seong Wu, who will star as detective Kang and Nam Soon's love interest.
