Kim Se Jun Responds to ‘Skinship’ With Lee So E in ‘Single’s Inferno Season 2’
Kim Se Jun clarified a scene with Lee So E in "Single's Inferno" season 2 where it made his fellow participant Kim Jin Young taken aback.
To recall, in episode 7 of the Netflix reality show, viewers witness the effortless chemistry between the two after the 27-year-old heartthrob invited So E to spend a day in Paradise.
However, before going to the luxurious hotel, the duo along with Lim Min Su and Kim Jin Young need to ride a special helicopter to transfer them from the secluded island to their destination.
During their trip, Kim Se Jun noticed that So E seemed uneasy while on the flight, and being the gentleman that he is, he comforted her by holding her hand and making sure that she is safe during the ride.

Interestingly, Live Q&A with Kim Jin Young, Se Jun clarified the "skinship" seen in "Single's Inferno" season 2 episode 7.
'Single's Inferno' Season 2 Star Kim Se Jun Clarifies 'Skinship' With Lee So E
On the duo's Instagram live, the former UDT member Kim Jin Young asked Se Jun if he noticed his reaction upon seeing them hold hands.
"I really thought there was something. I was so shocked," he said to which Se Jun replied that it was only during the cast's reunion for Netflix that he found out about Jin Young's reaction.
Due to this, Kim Se Jun apologized and explained that he didn't have any "motive" to initiate any skinship with the female cast.
"I held her hand not because I had 'motive.' ...So E looked scared," he clarified.
However, although Kim Jin Young looked surprised upon seeing Se Jun's action in "Single's Inferno 2" episode 7, he mentioned in the Q&A that he didn't find it offensive but said that it was "nice" to see Se Jun protected So E.
In addition, he also mentioned that he was about to close his eyes for a bit while on their way to Paradise but he sensed that something was off with So E.
"Then when I closed my eyes, I could feel something weird next to me. I was like, 'What's that?' and I saw her. She was scared, so I (reassured her), 'It's okay,' 'The ride is not scary...' he explained.
Besides the helicopter ride, there are several times that viewers swoon over Kim Se Jun's actions toward Lee So E.
From Kim Se Jun Being the Newcomer to Fan-Favorite
Kim Se Jun entered the show in the middle of the season along with Lim Min Su.
Despite joining the second season midway, he instantly gained the interest of viewers, especially with his interaction with Lee So E.
For one, he showcases green flag moments even after So E chose someone else to go with her to Paradise.
For Se Jun, he says that he understands her decision adding that he is happy if So E is happy.
