Jang Ki Yong bagged the Best New Actor trophy at the 2019 Baeksang Arts Awards and Excellent Actor at the 2018 MBC Drama Awards for his exceptional acting in this series. In this K-drama, he worked with Jin Ki Joo and veteran actor Heo Jun Ho for the first time. 

The mystery-romance drama tells the complicated story of Chae Do Jin and Han Jae Yi who were each other's first loves since childhood and reunite years later as adults.

In 2019, the heartthrob landed a new drama and portrayed the character of Park Mo Gun, a loyal and romantic guy who is in love with Bae Ta Mi (Im Soo Jung). 

The series features the story of three women in their late thirties, who work in the famous competitive web portal companies: Unicorn and Barro.

'My Roommate is A Gumiho'

In 2021, Jang Ki Yong turned into a gumiho in the romantic-comedy drama "My Roommate is Gumiho." It depicts the story of a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox named Shin Woo Yeo and Lee Dam, a female university student who accidentally swallows his bead. 

It was one of his dramas before leaving showbiz for his military duty. His adorable chemistry with idol-actress Hyeri in this series was enjoyed by the viewers.

'Now, We Are Breaking Up'

The actor shared the frame with Hallyu superstar Song Hye Kyo in "Now, We Are Breaking Up" and played the handsome and passionate photographer Yoon Jae Guk. Though he already did multiple series, he was able to bring something new to the table in his challenging yet mature role in this melodrama. 

This SBS series circulates its story about love and breakups in the romantic world. It showcases the present scenario happening in the fashion industry.
