The weekend is approaching again, and if you are looking for a new bunch of K-dramas to add to your next watchlist these five dark melodramas from "Come and Hug Me," "My Mister," and more are recommended for you to try.
'Come and Hug Me'
During their teenage years, Chae Do Jin (Jang Ki Yong) and Han Jae Yi (Jin Ki Joo) fall in love with each other. They are each other's first loves and are willing to do so to preserve their relationship. Unluckily, Do Jin's father ends up killing Jae Yi's entire family, which tears the couple apart. They become adults and cross paths again, however, Do Jin's father is getting out of jail and wants to finish his business of killing Jae Yi.

'My Mister'
Park Dong Hoon (played by Lee Sun Gyun) is a married man in his forties who goes through a lot of stress from work and family. Lee Ji An (played by IU) is a young woman who has had to go through various hardships in life, as a result, she has lost a lot of hope in life. These two meet at work and from an awkward bond they begin to become each other's comfort and understand each other's struggles.
'The King 2 Hearts'
Kim Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi teamed up for the first time in this classic series released in 2012. The drama is set in a fictional modern day where South Korea is governed under a constitutional monarchy. It features the story of Prince Jae Ha from South Korea and North Korean Special Force instructor Kim Hang Ah who become a couple through an arranged marriage.
'Nice Witch'
With a mix of romance, this drama follows the story of a housewife who gets married to an unemployed husband. For her own good and selfishness, she switches places and opinionated her twin sister, who works as a flight attendant. They may be twins but have exactly polar opposite personalities. While onboard, she gets involved with a handsome pilot, who is an abstinent bachelor and their chaotic journey sets off.
'Temptation of an Angel'
This 2009 drama starring Bae Soo Bin tells the story of Joo Ah Ran, after her parents died, she plots to ruin the family that destroyed hers. She seduces and marries Shin Hyun Woo, the son of her enemy. Later on, he discovers her plan belatedly. Unfortunately, he got into a car accident which made him undergo plastic surgery, with a new face to show, Hyun Woo decides to do his revenge on Joo Ah Ran.
