‘Island’ Part 2 Episodes 1-2: Sung Joon Returns To Make Revenge Against Lee Da Hee
The second book of the action-fantasy series "Island" finally premiered, and featured the back-story of Van, Gong Tan, and Wonjeong. Meanwhile, Gong Tan made his return to Earth to get rid of Won Mi Ho. Read on to know what happened in "Island" Part 2 episodes 1 and 2!
'Island' Part 2 Episode 1: Did Wonjeong Betray Gong Tan & Van?
A flashback showed the miserable and controlled life of Van (Kim Nam Gil) and Gong Tan (Sung Joon) was revealed. They were trained by Jongryeong to become saviors and protect the people from lust demons.
Wonjeong (Lee Da Hee) met these men and was worried about their life and freedom. She tried to help them escape from being locked in the abandoned room, but ended up returning due to the incident that happened to her.
After she recovered, Wonjeong made a deal with Jongryeong that she would only make the barrier on Earth once he promised to set Van and Gong Tan free. Jongryeong agreed, but betrayed the two guys. He put fire around them to die.
The demons in them were awakened and helped them escape death.

Gong Tan killed Jongryeong and tried to look for Wonjeong. Van also looked for her to check if she betrayed them, only to find out that it was Jongryeong who planned to kill them and not her.
Gong Tan was determined to kill Wonjeong, but Van protected her and explained she had no idea what Jongryeong did to them. It did not work for Gong.
When Van was about to stab Gong, he pushed Wonjeong and he received the stab instead.
'Island' Part 2 Episode 2: Won Mi Ho Wants to Unlock Her Past Life
Won Mi Ho was still in grief for what happened to her friend's fiance, who died because of lust demons. Father Yohan (Cha Eun Woo) was still trying to process his brother's demise.
Since she didn't want to lose anyone anymore, Won Mi Ho went to Geum Baek Joo (Ko Do Shim) and asked about her past and what she could do to protect the people around her.
Geum Baek Joo let her see a glimpse of her past, which convinced her to unlock her memories and know more about it.
Alongside Van and Father Yohan, Won Mi Ho packed their things and went to Geum Baek Joo's house. She would undergo training to prepare her body and mind to uncover her tragic past.
Meanwhile, Gong Tan appeared and secretly watched Mi Ho doing her training and was already plotting how he would take his revenge against her.
Van and Baek Joo, on the other hand, could sense Gong Tan was near.
