'Family' Script Reading: Jang Nara & Jang Hyuk To Reunite After Nine Years
tvN officially introduced the cast of its upcoming drama "Family." On March 6, the broadcasting company shared the behind-the-scenes images of the series' recent table-reading in Seoul.
Present at the gathering is directors Jang Jung Do and Lee Jung Mook, writer Jung Yoo Sun, and actors Jang Hyuk, Jang Nara, Lee Soon Jae, Chae Jung An, Kim Kang Min, Shin Soo Ah, Yoon Sang Jung, Gabee, and more.
"Family" marks the fourth project of Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara together. It is also their first drama reunion after nine years.
At the beginning of the script reading, the directors thanked all the cast and crew of the soon-to-release series. They promised to create a happy and harmonious environment during filming, so everyone will enjoy the work until the end.

As expected, veteran stars and longtime onscreen partners Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk started the reading by exhibiting their impeccable chemistry.

In "Family," Jang Nara takes the role of Kang Yu Ra, a housekeeper and a dedicated wife who will do everything to protect the perfect family of her dreams. However, she hides a secret behind her charming nature.
Jang Hyuk is Kwon Do Hoon, Kang Yu Ra's husband and a NIS black agent disguised as a trading company employee. Though he is a charismatic and intimidating agent, Kwon Do Hoon turns into a loving and romantic husband at home.
The duo immediately filled the room with laughter and applause from the other cast and crew members as they wowed them with their realistic, passionate, and comedic acting.
The teaser of their upcoming performance already gives an excitement to the fans who have been waiting for their long-awaited return.
Other Cast Members To Join tvN's Comedy-Spy Drama 'Family'
Meanwhile, joining them is Chae Jung An. She plays the role of Oh Chun Ryun, a professional NIS operator known as Kwon Do Hoon's marksman. She has been divorced thrice, but it didn't stop her from helping Kwon Do Hoon to keep his family.
Veteran actor Lee Soon Jae will play the loving father of Kwon Do Hoon, Kwon Woong Soo.
To give more fun to the drama, stellar cast Yoon Sang Jung, Kim Kang Min, and Shin Soo Ah are also participating, alongside La Chica member Gabee.
The comedy-spy drama "Family" is scheduled to meet the viewers starting this April on tvN.
