As tvN introduced another mystery drama, viewers tuned in at the show's pilot episode as it featured mind-boggling scenes.
Helmed by "One the Woman" director Choi Young Hoon, the story depicts revenge about a woman, named Hong Tae Ra (Lee Ji Ah), who lives an almost perfect life but faces a dark phase from her past. She finds out she is living an orchestrated life to be part of someone else' devious plan.
In "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise," she is joined by Lee Sang Yoon, who plays as her onscreen husband Pyo Jae Hyun, the chairman of the successful IT company called Hatch.
Meanwhile, Jang Hee Jin plays Hong Tae Ra's best friend Go Hae Soo, and her husband and top executive at Hatch Jang Do Jin are portrayed by Park Ki Woong.
As for Bong Tae Gyu, he takes the role of Goo Sung Chan, Hatch's eccentric research director.

According to Neilsen Korea, tvN's newest revenge K-drama aired with a promising start.
"Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" Episode 1 scored an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent.
To recall, its predecessor, "Crash Course in Romance," aired its pilot episode with a nationwide average of 4.0 percent.
It only shows that Lee Ji Ah's new drama is on a good start.

While the trio celebrates a milestone in their career, Hong Tae Ra gets into an accident that happens to be planned by her sister Hong Yoo Ra.
After briefly recovering, she proceeds to her husband's party and welcomes her best friend Koo Hae Soo, a former reporter turned news anchor who married his chaebol husband Jang Do Jin.
As Hong Tae Ra mentions that her husband is in the basement, getting wine, little does she know that Jang Do Jin is having an affair with Hong Tae Ra's sister.
Hong Yoo Ra wants Koo Hae Soo to get a hint of their relationship and leaves an earring in the room. At the dinner, Hong Yoo Ra ruins the mood of the party and asks her husband if he had any visitors, to which he denies.
Apart from her suspicion regarding her husband, Yoo Ra gets a tip regarding her father's assassin.
Along with Hong Tae Ra, they visit Hanwool Mental Hospital in hope of getting more intel about her father.
Although they are looking into the details of a woman named n0.50, they failed to get information about her.
However, Hong Tae Ra gets flashes of memories, which lead her to a secret passage of elite assassins.
Fortunately, her instinct saves her from getting captured.
This is where she raised questions as to why she became a pawn in a scheme that required her to be someone else's wife.
