‘Divorce Attorney Shin’ Episode 6: Is Cho Seung Woo Preparing for Revenge?

In "Divorce Attorney Shin" episode 6, people from Shin Sung Han's (Cho Seung Woo) past came to his office and made him reconsider pursuing his sister's case. 

'Divorce Attorney Shin' Episode 6: Ma Geum Hwi Makes Surprise Visit at Shin Sung Han's Office

The episode starts with a flashback from Shin Ju Hwa's (Kong Hyun Ji) past on how she died. Back to the present, Shin Sung Han visits his sister's and parents' graves and gets emotional expressing his concerns to them.

When he reaches the office, everyone senses that there's something wrong with him. Meanwhile, Ma Geum Hwi (Cha Hwa Yeon) Ju Hwa's mother-in-law awaits him in the office. Jang Hyeong Geun (Kim Sung Kyun) tries to send her away but fails. When the attorney arrives, she asks where Shin Ju Hwa's grave is. It makes him uncomfortable. While controlling his anger, he frankly asks her to leave and gives his card to her in case she needs a divorce consultation.

Shin Sung Han Wins Professor Cho's Case

Professor Cho's case starts to get complicated. Mr. Cho's son tries to convince them to finally divorce so Cho's girlfriend can finally donate a liver for his fast recovery. However, his wife is not yet ready for a divorce. 

Kim Ji Suk then visits her wife's girlfriend and creates chaos by releasing all her frustration onto her. Later on, Shin Sung Han tells Ji Suk about the insurance being canceled since she can't claim the money after the death of her husband. During the discussion, Ji Suk rebuts as the recording of the call without permission is illegal. As the case progressed, Shin Sung Han's plan worked as Ji Suk agreed to divorce.

After the case, he contemplates coloring the last grape in his office. But he gets interrupted by Lee Seo Jin (Han Hye Jin) who congratulates him for winning another case.

Shin Sung Han Discovers New Lead to His Sister's Death

Meanwhile, the trio along with Choi Jun went on a camping trip to relieve their stress. During their conversation, it was revealed that Jin Yeong Ju and the husband were former lovers, before Shin Ju Hwa. Geum Hwi was against their marriage.

Irked by hearing Shin Ju Hwa's name, she orders Park Yu Seok to gather more information about Sung Han. He calls the attorney, but when Sung Han sees the number on his phone, he gets reminded of the day when he was investigating the case of his sister.

It turned out that 1225 is the same number from the past and the person who's calling him now. The police told him before that it was Ju Hwa's friends who casually calls her. But when Sung Han tried to call it, the number was out of service. Suddenly, after three years he is getting a call from the same number. As he picks up the call, he gets to know the real person behind his sister's last call. 

Yeong Ju asked him to meet up but he refused. After knowing the caller's identity, Shin Sung Han is convinced that Yeong Ju is connected to his sister's death. He now became determined to pursue the case of Shin Ju Hwa.
