'Kokdu: Season of Deity' Episode 14: Kokdu Prepares To Say His Last Goodbye to Han Gye Jeol
Kokdu was killed by Han Gye Jeol. While knocking on the door of the underworld with death to disappear forever, the moment of a peaceful time in the gap of parting gave a sad feeling.

In episode 14, after recalling all of Seol Hee's memories through the hairpin she found, Han Gye Jeol realized that the curse Kokdu endured was because of her, and began to count his pain. She felt sympathetic to Kokdu's words that love is an obligation that one does not want to escape, she held the hand of the man who gave her life for love and promised to be with him in the days to come.
However, as the love between Kokdu and Han Gye Jeol deepened, the shadow of tragedy for them grew. Kokdu's wounds, which Tae Joong Sik (Kim Young Woong) stabbed with a knife, started to heal, and after seeing Kokdu's blood, Gye Jeol remembered the same scenario that happened before, which resulted in Kokdu's death.

On the other hand, Kokdu was overcome with rage when he realized that the hairpin that had been stained with Seol Hee's blood had returned to Han Gye Jeol. Kokdu's determination was shattered when an unexpected accident befell Jung Yi Deun (Lee Jung Jun). Jung Deun died while helping Kokdu against the Yuan Dynasty, he became a scapegoat in the threat of Kim Pil Soo surrounding Kokdu.
Kokdu, who could no longer let his loved ones fall into danger, chose to surrender to his fate and follow the creator's punishment.

The next day the two went to a cathedral where Han Gye Jeol prayed earnestly to be with Kokdu. After exchanging comforting words, Kokdu kissed her forehead and finally said his last goodbye, and disappeared quietly.
