The rising star confirmed her appearance in the upcoming series "Park's Contract Marriage Story" with Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk!

Joo Hyun Young To Star In New MBC Drama

Joo Hyun Young is back in the game with a new intriguing drama on her way!

After showcasing her comical acting skills on drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," the 27-year-old rising actress is set to create a new impression on the viewers this 2023.

On Thursday, March 30, Joo Hyun Young's agency, AIMC, confirmed that the actress was cast in the new time travel series "Park's Contract Marriage Story" with Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk.

The drama is based on the webtoon of the same name, which tells the exclusive and chaotic marriage between a vivacious widower and an unpredictable bachelor.

Set in both the Joseon Dynasty and the busy South Korean of the year 2023, fate transcends time as the two meet and are binded to a contractual marriage while practicing celibacy.

In the series, Joo Hyun Young plays Sa Wol, a great friend to Lee Se Young. There's no additional details about the actress' role but she is expected to show her A-game on set as she challenges herself with a new drama.

"Park's Contract Marriage Story" is currently in its production process, and it is intended to be released in the second half of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!

Joo Hyun Young Praised For Generosity To Calamity Victims

Earlier this year, Turkey and Syria were hit by a devastating earthquake that destroyed millions worth of lands, livelihoods and even precious lives.

To help the friends in need, many South Korean stars extended help through monetary donations. Among them is "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star Joo Hyun Young.

On February 12, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association shared that Joo Hyun Young donated 30 million KRW (approximately 24,000 USD) to aid the victims in Turkey and Syria.

The earthquake which had a 7.8 magnitude hit the countries on February 6, causing major casualties. Through her meaningful donation, Joo Hyun Young hopes to ease the worries of the victims as well as support their rehabilitation and basic necessities.

On the other hand, Shin Min Ah, Girls' Generation Yoona, Im Si Wan, Jang Geun Suk and more also made generous contributions to the victims of the calamity.
