Prior to its premiere, the drama received great response from fans. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. Due to being period-centered, "Oasis" wasn't able to entice more viewers compared to a drama set in the modern time.

The constant depiction of violence, betrayal and cheating has also left a sour impression on the viewers.

Moreover, the chemistry between the three is a hit or miss due to the evident awkwardness between the female and male leads who both lack personality, according to domestic viewers.

In addition to that, the drama is also continuously compared to the actress' previous work "Business Proposal," which was a box office hit in 2022.

But with the sudden rise in the drama ratings, the production unit believes that "Oasis" will continue its momentum with the hopes of enjoying great reception from the public in the second half of its run.
