'Taxi Driver 2' Episode 12 Recap

"Taxi Driver" Episode 12 continues with Kim Do Gi trying to infiltrate the Black Sun, an elite club where illegal activities like drugs, prostitution, and more were catered.

After failing to get intel by using his cover as a guest and being the K-pop star Victor's friend, he was detained by police after learning that he was the tipster who gave information to the police about minors coming in at the club.

Besides charges relating to disturbing business, he was also framed for sexually abusing a staff. With this, the group proved that the police are the protectors of Black Sun, which makes the club continue its operation despite illegalities.

Thankfully, a reporter whom he saved from the Black Sun employees helped him get out of detention.

Here, Kim Do Gi learned that he wanted to expose the elite club but was clueless about the real reason behind it.

At this point, all he could think about is staging a new strategy to dig deep into Black Sun's activities.

He was chosen as one of the new bodyguards at the club after one of the bosses witnessed his combat skills. Kim Do Gi was recruited as one of the staff but once again got caught up in an incident after he saw a drunk woman being taken into a car. He tried to save her but someone was tailing their car.

Lo and behold, it was the reporter. Kim Do Gi learned why he was obsessed to expose Black Sun. It was after his colleague, who was also investigating the club, was murdered by one of their men. He knew about the illegal activities at Black Sun and wanted to spearhead an investigation to it.

However, the group staged it as suicide but the reporter insisted that it was murder.

Moreover, he also sparked doubts against other police investigators who were the protectors of Black Sun.
