'How To Buy A Friend'

Released in 2020, "How To Buy A Friend" stars rising actors Lee Shin Young, Shin Seung Ho and Kim So Hye.

The series depicts the lives of teenagers who stick together as they uncover the truth behind a mysterious murder of a woman who's acquainted with them.

Though it received low ratings during its run, "How To Buy A Friend" was praised for its gripping premise and elements.

'School 2021'

The eighth installment of KBS2's "School" franchise "School 2021" falls short compared to its predecessors.

Starring Cho Yi Hyun, Kim Yo Han, Chu Young Woo and more, "School 2021" depicts the 18-year-olds' bold risk in taking different recreational paths than taking their entrance examination.

Through the work, they learn the essence of life and friendship, and how important it is to follow one's dream instead of conforming to society's cookie cutter system.

'Orange Marmalade'

Seolhyun and Yeo Jin Goo's 2015 series "Orange Marmalade" is one of the many underrated gems in the Hallyu scene.

While it's a youth drama, it also falls under the fantasy romance genre as it depicts the co-existence, friendship and love between regular students and vampires.

It also touched the sensitive themes of bullying, sex, vices and betrayal-much more reasons to check it out!

'A Love So Beautiful'

Unlike its Chinese counterpart, Kim Yo Han and So Joo Yeon's version of "A Love So Beautiful" didn't receive the same attention and praise.

However, it's still as good as the original. It focuses on the young love of two teenagers who live next to one another, and their realizations as they shift from adolescence to adulthood.
