Kang San's (Ryeo Un) finally revealed his identity, and became more careful of his feelings for Yoon Dan Oh (Shin Ye Eun) in "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" episode 8.
'The Secret Romantic Guesthouse' Episode 8: Jung Yoo Ha Pays Yoon Dan Oh's Debt to Restore the Summer Palace
Yoon Dan Oh was dragged away by Jang Tae Hwa's (Oh Man Seok) soldiers and took away the Yundo engraved with dragon patterns, which was a keepsake of the abdicated crown prince. He asked Yoon Dan Oh about the late crown prince's belongings, but she remained silent. It angered him, and strangled the landlady.
Luckily, Jung Yoo Ha (Jung Gun Joo) appeared to save her. He used his remaining inheritance to pay off Yoon Dan Oh's debt and restore Summer Palace. She was thankful for Jung Yoo Ha and promised to pay him back.

The next day, before the exam, the three scholars and Yoon Dan Oh went outside to buy materials to use during the test. She bought the paper and gave it to Yoo Ha, which made Kang San jealous.
Kang San Reveals His Identity to Yoon Dan Oh
Back at the Summer Palace. Yoon Dan Oh told Kang San about how Ok Jin saved her before, and the only memory of him was confiscated by Jang Tae Hwa. After hearing this, Kang San comforted her.
Afterward, she heard from the gisaengs that Kang San was the one who started the banya's fight. Angered by this Jung Gil Joon tried to stab Yoon Dan Oh, but Kang San, who had followed her, came and broke Jung Gil Jun's arm.
Yoon Dan Oh found the Samhan Secret Book in Kang San's room. While looking through it, she saw a picture of what she and Ok Jin went through in the past, and her expression changed. Kang San, on the other hand, passed the exam. Lee Chang suggested Kang San stay close to him
Kang San appeared, and Yoon Dan Oh pointed to the picture in the book she found and asked about it. It was then that Kang San confessed his real identity. He revealed to Yoon Dan Oh that he is Lee Seol, the child she saved before. This sudden revelation shocked Yoon Dan Oh.
Meanwhile, Jung Yoo Ha discovered that Shin Won Ho was only using him for political purposes.
