'Queen of Tears' To Make Prime Time Debut In December

On April 14, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won's beloved fans rejoiced after broadcast network tvN announced the release of "Queen of Tears"!

Earlier this 2023, many viewers clamored for Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won who coupled up for the first time to headline a brand new series.

"Queen of Tears" depicts the impressive romance between an estranged couple who try to keep their relationship alive. The series will focus on the real-life struggles and trials that married couples face-from the simplest thing to the unsavable.

Kim Soo Hyun plays Baek Hyun Woo, a legal representative of the filthy rich Queen's Group while Kim Ji Won transforms into Hong Hae In, a third generation heiress of the said conglomerate family.

Excitement is through the roof as the drama's production team announced that "Queen of Tears" will be released in December 2023 after the work finishes the post production process.

Expectation is on a different level for Kim Ji Won who showed her flawless acting in her 2022 life drama "My Liberation Notes," which dominated the global charts during its run.

In particular, Kim Soo Hyun is also expected to give his best to portray the woes of a married man through "Queen of Tears," following the huge success of his drama "One Ordinary Day."

Moreover, the tvN series is also predicted to deliver an aesthetically pleasing work with high quality cinematography as it will be helmed by Park Ji Eun who wrote "Crash Landing on You," Kim Hee Won who directed "Little Women" and "Vincenzo."

In particular, "Queen of Tears" will air every Saturday and Sunday in the second half of the year.
