Lee Je Hoon spilled more secrets regarding his portrayal of an anti-hero in the recently-concluded K-drama "Taxi Driver 2."

For two seasons, the South Korean heathrob portrayed Rainbow Taxi's Kim Do Gi, who went on secret missions and disguised himself to save victims from their perpetrators.

The 38-year-old amazed viewers with his charms and remarkable performance, along with Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Bae Yoo Ram, and Jang Hyuk Jin.

Interestingly, Lee Je Hoon spoke about his experience filming the second season and made a surprising revelation regarding his comeback as Kim Do Gi.

Lee Je Hoon on His Iconic Shirtless Scene in 'Taxi Driver 2'

As obtained by a media outlet, the actor appeared as a guest on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," where he was asked by Yoo Jae Suk about his shirtless scene in "Taxi Driver 2."

The host mentioned how amazing his physique is and even pointed out his resemblance to Bruce Lee.

The same goes for co-host Jo Se Ho, who got curious about Lee Je Hoon's body fat percentage. The actor shared the things he had to give up in order to achieve his ripped physique.

"I especially ate a lot of beef. Without salt," he said, adding that he did his best to achieve that tip top shape.

Moreover, Lee Je Hoon also revealed what motivated him to shed a few pounds and gain muscles.

"I worked hard, thinking it was the last time in my life to go shirtless because I wanted to achieve what the writer wanted," he explained.

The said scene was featured in "Taxi Driver 2" episode 1, where Kim Do Gi disguised himself as one of the prisoners to get intel regarding their mission. He donned long hair similar to that of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee and flaunted his toned and muscular upper body for the scene.

At the time, a comedian was criticized for making an inappropriate remark about Lee Je Hoon' body.

During Pyo Ye Jin's appearance in SBS PowerFM's "Cultwo Show," comedian Lee Kyung Sil left the audience disappointed after she blurted out a sexual comment about the actor, which the public found offensive.

"Do you see the deep line between his chest bones? If you drop water on Lee Je Hoon's muscles and drink it, it would become mineral water," she commented.

After getting criticized by netizens, she delivered a public apology and said she was sorry for her action.

'Taxi Driver' Season 3: Will Lee Je Hoon Return as Kim Do Gi?

Following the season finale, producers of "Taxi Driver" confirmed season 3.

As obtained by a news portal, the third installment is now in the works, and "plans to start discussions with the actors, writer, and director from now on."

With this, viewers are hopeful that the show will maintain the original cast, especially Lee Je Hoon as Kim Do Gi.
