Moon Sang Min may be a rookie, but his top-tier performances in his projects showcased how talented he is as an actor.

The 23-year-old heartthrob made his acting debut in 2019 through the web series "4 Reasons Why I Hate Christmas."

In 2021, he starred in the romantic drama "Nevertheless," alongside Han So Hee and Song Kang.

The following year, he made heads turn with his charismatic presence in the record-breaking series "Under the Queen's Umbrella." He played the character of Prince Seong Nam.

An additional fact about the actor is that Moon Sang Min auditioned for the role four times as he was determined to be part of the said historical series. Thankfully, after his hard work, the role was eventually given to him.

Moon Sang Min mentioned in one of his interviews that the moment he read the script, he already had fun and prepared hard because he wanted to participate in the project. He revealed that Prince Seong Nam's incalculable behavior caught his interest.

The young star also learned horseback riding for the first time for his role.

Following his successful portrayal in "Under the Queen's Umbrella," where he had the opportunity to work with veteran actress Kim Hye Soo, the actor immediately proceeded to his next work.

The drama follows the story of high school students called to join the world's first war against bizarre alien creatures.

Moon Sang Min once again showcased his strong presence and brilliant acting.

Since then, the actor has been consistently gaining popularity in Korea and abroad. In fact, with only a few projects on his portfolio, Moon Sang Min's talent was recognized after he bagged the Best New Actor Award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

As of this writing, Moon Sang Min is rumored to star in the webtoon-based drama "Wedding Impossible."
