'King the Land' Surprises Fans With New Drama Poster

On May 16, Yoona and Lee Junho's JTBC romance comedy drama "King the Land" amplified the public's excitement for the drama as it released its first ever drama poster.

"King the Land" depicts the complex romantic love story of a stoic heir who finds love and new perspective in a vivacious hotelier from his hotel.

In the series, Lee Junho plays Goo Won, a chaebol hair who doesn't smile in his entire life while Yoona takes on the role of Cheon Sa Rang, a lively hotel worker who always offers a smile despite her difficult profession.

The poster features the two characters together. Cheon Sa Rang shows her unique smile that brightens her surroundings while Goo Won remains stoic, hinting at his tough personality.

They are surrounded by bright lights that create a heartwarming atmosphere. In addition, the text that reads "the magic of love will save you" on the poster raises speculations as to what kind of danger they need to be protected from.

Expectations for "King the Land" are through the roof as Yoona and Lee Junho's characters' names mean "love" and "salvation," respectively.

'King the Land' Predicted To Enjoy Great Reception During Broadcast

Even before its premiere, Yoona and Lee Junho's "King the Land" is already creating a huge buzz in the online Hallyu scene!

The series is slated to air next month and take over the weekend which is currently occupied by Uhm Jung Hwa's highly rated medical series "Doctor Cha."

On May 14, JTBC dropped the tenth episode of "Doctor Cha," which received an average rating of 18% nationwide, making it its highest rating yet.

It also surpassed Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi's "Itaewon Class" in the most highly rated dramas released by JTBC. Because of this, fans expect "King the Land" to live up to its predecessor's success through scores and feedback from fans.

In addition to that, Lee Junho and Yoona's partnership in the series also amplifies the excitement for the work as they impressed the public as "acting idols" in the past years.
