Kim Byung Chul left the television scene abuzz with his participation in the 2022 apocalyptic drama "All of Us Are Dead."

He played Lee Byung Chan, the uptight life science teacher who served as the work's main antagonist. He was also the creator of the deadly virus.

While he makes viewers laugh with his antics in "Doctor Cha," he undoubtedly got under everyone's skin through his "All of Us Are Dead" character for his unapologetic demeanor.

'Sisyphus: The Myth'

In "Sisyphus: The Myth," Kim Byung Chul is given a very complex character called Sigma who's also known as Seo Gil Bok.

He's an enigmatic man from the future who manipulates the current time in his favor by using his knowledge.

Sigma has the liberty to travel back in time and return without any hindrances. However, he had a gravely difficult past as he was abused by his father that drove him to take his own life.

He also developed a sense of loneliness that preceded his fascination about the nuclear war. Sigma is probably his most evil character yet, which makes Seo In Ho from "Doctor Cha" a breath of fresh air.

'Goblin'

When it comes to villainous roles, Kim Byung Chul is definitely a master.

In "Goblin," he played Park Jung Heon, a cunning and dangerous eunuch from the Goryeo Dynasty who threatens the existence of Gong Yoo's Kim Shin.

Furthermore, he also hinders Kim Shin and Kim Go Eun's Ji Eun Tak's romantic story, which irked many viewers.

Park Jung Heon along with Sigma is one of Kim Byung Chul's most hated characters in his long list of filmography, proving his influence and top-notch performance.

'Descendants of the Sun'

Kim Byung Chul also made every viewer cackle in 2016 with his performance as Song Joong Ki's colonel Park Byung Soo.

He's a just and fair senior, and a hippie who always adheres to "unique" rules and regulations which divides his subordinates.

Despite his stern look, his soft heart and quirky personality earned the public's trust as Song Joong Ki's boss.

'SKY Castle'

In "Doctor Cha," he made the viewers' blood boil when he ruined his daughter's art materials after learning that she didn't want to go to med school.

But did you know that he's way unreasonable in the highly rated series "SKY Castle"? In the makjang drama, he plays law professor Cha Min Hyuk who's married to Yoon Se Ah's character.

He has high expectations for his children and is highly condescending to other people. Due to his self-absorbed demeanor, he gave viewers the ick that made it difficult to watch the work.

Despite that, it's no doubt that Kim Byung Chul did amazing as Cha Min Hyuk; a character with a balanced antagonistic personality and comical side.
