Veteran actor Gong Yoo made his talk show appearance and commented on the rumor that he and Lee Dong Wook fought over a woman.

Gong Yoo made a special guest appearance on the trending talk show online, "Salon Drip." On the May 23 episode, posted on TEO's official YouTube channel, host Jang Do Yeon mentioned the rumor involving the "The Silent Sea" star.

The host said that there was a rumor of discord between Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook. She continued, "Someone said you two fought at a fishing place because of a woman."

Wittily, Gong Yoo responded and said, "Weren't you that woman?"

Jang Do Yeon burst into laughter and humorously replied, "I'm in big trouble. I won't ask this kind of question."

As the conversation continued, Jang Do Yeon asked the "Goblin" lead star if he has anyone want to recommend to guest next on "Salon Drip."

Gong Yoo mentioned Lee Dong Wook and Son Heung Min. The actor further shared his close relationship with the star athlete.

The actor revealed that the two of them have the same stylists, and they met not long ago and became close to each other.

He also confessed that he went to London to watch Son Heung Min's match, showcasing his friendship with him.

What's Next for Gong Yoo: 'Squid Game' Season 2 & 'Trunk'

After his sci-fi drama "The Silent Sea," Gong Yoo is preparing for his comeback through the soon-to-be released second installment of the record-breaking K-series "Squid Game."

Though the date of release is not confirmed yet, the 43-year-old actor announced his participation in the work.

Adding to his next activity is the romance drama "Trunk."

In February, Gong Yoo surprised the public with the announcement that he is being courted to headline the series alongside award-winning actress and labelmate Seo Hyun Jin.

Both parties confirmed that they received casting offers to lead the series, and are positively reviewing the project. If they accept the roles, "Trunk" will be their next small-screen return and their first drama team-up.

It has been said that "Trunk" is being discussed to premiere on the famous streaming giant Netflix.
