‘Dr Romantic 3’ Episode 13: Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop Clash Against Yoo Yeon Seok + Breaks Own Ratings Record
"Dr. Romantic 3" didn't fail the viewers with their expectations as episode 13 showcased tension between the Trauma Center staff and their new head.
Interestingly, fans get hooked as the medical K-drama, starring Hna Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung, garners a new achievement.
For the show's third installment, legendary doctor Kim Sa Bu continued his passion project for Doldam to have its own trauma center.
However, as the new organization officially operates, the staff faces challenging situations.
As the 16-part episode K-drama is set to have its finale, Yoo Yeon Seok, who played Dr. Kang Dong Joo in season 1, joined as the new Trauma Center head.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 13 Rating
According to a media outlet, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 14.8 percent for "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 13.
Apart from setting a new all time high, the episode is also the most-watched show of any kind to air on Friday.

Interestingly, it is expected that Yoo Yeon Seok's arrival until the "Dr. Romantic 3" finale will contribute to an increasing rating and surpass the previous season's highest viewership.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 13 Recap
The 13th episode delivered a round of highlights to the Doldam and Trauma Center staff, especially Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin.
After Dr. Kang Dong Joo was introduced as the interim Trauma Center head, some staff were adamant about his new rules.
For one, Dr. Kang wants to divide the number of patients coming into the Doldam and Trauma Center.
He wants patients with severe cases to be at the Trauma Center, while those who don't need that intense special attention would be transferred to Doldam.
However, its been three days since doctors and staff at the Trauma Center have not been treating patients.
Whereas in Doldam, the staff were swamped with patients.
While Ms. Oh, Nam Do Il, and Jung In Soo expressed worries about how Dr. Kang is setting the rules, Kim Sa Bu is confident that he has plans for them.
In one of the scenes, Cha Eun Jae was bummed that a patient was transferred to Doldam despite the fact that the Trauma Center was not busy at the time.
She was called by her junior, Dr. Ung, regarding a special case of a patient and told that Kim Sa Bu, at the time, was doing a surgery.
While Cha Eun Jae sees this as a life or death situation, she went to Doldam to do the surgery herself, even without the permission of Dr. Kang.
Unfortunately, the Trauma Center got chaotic after six car accident patients were rushed to the hospital.
Due to the center being understaffed, Dr. Kang managed to check on three severe cases.
Unfortunately, one of them died. This is the reason why he got furious over Cha Eun Jae, noting how she did a wrong move.
On the other hand, Seo Woo Jin defended Cha Eun Jae, but Dr. Kang said that it was her mistake.
Meanwhile, Kim Sa Bu is reflecting on Dr. Kang's decision and the deal that they just made.
