'Bloodhounds' Episodes 1 to 4 Recap

The first half of the series delivered show-stopping highlights. The episode began with a match between Kim Gun Woo and Hong Woo Jin.

After a nice meal, the two became close after finding out that they both served in the Marines.

However, things got messy after Gun Woo's mother became a victim of loan sharks.

In one scene, it featured how Kim Gun Woo tried to defend her mother against the gang boss but failed and was left with a large scar on his face.

Unfortunately, it didn't end just yet, as the loan sharks returned and wanted to get the interest right off the bat. To help his mother, Gum Woo mentioned it to his now-best friend, Woo Jin.

The duo ended up working with President Choi Tae Ho, a former loan shark who now helps victims and sick people.

He hired the duo to protect his adopted granddaughter, Kim Hyun Joo.

For their first task, they needed to track down Yang Jae Myeong and discovered that he works for Smile Company, a lending service headed by Kim Myung Gil, who happened to be President Choi's former staffer.

The first part of "Bloodhounds" also revealed Kim Myung Gil betrayed President Choi and tried to kill him when he got his stash money to open up a new company.
