After successfully wrapping up the season, "Bloodhounds," headlined by Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi, gained the interest of global viewers with their unique chemistry and plot.

Directed by Jason Kim of "The Divine Fury" and "Midnight Runners," the webtoon-based K-drama showcases the journey of two amateur boxers, Kim Gun Woo and Hong Woo Jin, after they get intertwined with loan shark boss Kim Myung Gil, played by Park Sung Woong.

Interestingly, the series also includes a roster of talented stars, such as veteran actors Heo Joon Ho, and talented stars Lee Hae Young, Ryu Soo Young, Park Hoon, and K-pop icon Choi Si Won.

However, some viewers might think that an 8-episode series is short for the season. With this, here are 3 K-dramas that feature similar patterns and genres.

'My Name'

Also released by Netflix, the action-crime drama illustrates the story of an underdog who was able to win against a big organization. It stars Han So Hee as the protagonist, who takes on the dual roles of Yoon Ji Woo and her new identity, Oh Hye Jin.

Due to the death of her father, she goes on a secret revenge mission against the people behind the tragic death.

Joining Han So Hee in "My Name" is Park Hee Soon as the boss of the drug gang, Choi Moo Jin. Adding to the list of lead stars is Ahn Bo Hyun as detective Jeon Pil Do.

Like "Bloodhounds," "My Name" also showcased death-defying stunts that left viewers on the edge of their seats.

'Taxi Driver'

With SBS releasing the series in two seasons, it only shows how interesting "Taxi Driver" is.

Led by Lee Je Hoon, the webtoon-based K-drama focuses on the revenge of a secret organization called the Rainbow Taxi, and their mission to save victims that the law couldn't protect.

Lee Je Hoon plays the anti-hero Kim Do Gi, who disguises himself in order to take down criminals and offenders. Joining him in his quests are his trusted colleagues, played by Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram.

'D.P'

While most of the said K-dramas focus on revenge, Netflix's "D.P." centers around teamwork between two soldiers tasked to hunt down deserters, known as "deserter pursuit."

Jung Hae In teamed up with Goo Kwo Hwan to chase military defectors; however, as they did the task, the duo found out the reason why these deserters chose to leave.

Interestingly, "D.P." will return for a second season along with new cast members Ji Jin Hee and Kim Ji Hyun.
