‘Dr Romantic 3’ Episode 16: Han Suk Kyu, Doldam Staff Receive Unexpected Miracle
"Dr. Romantic 3" finale left the viewers hanging after wrapping up the season with surprising twists and turns.
As the medical K-drama said goodbye to viewers, the SBS series surely made a remarkable finale after featuring unexpected revelations and familiar characters from the past seasons.
For the past three seasons, viewers witnessed the excitement and drama at Doldam with the legendary doctor Kim Sa Bu, played by Han Suk Kyu, along with the dedicated medical staff, which he sees as his family. Lead stars Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop played as Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin.
Viewers were also delighted to see the chemistry between the supporting cast, including Jin Kyung, Kim Min Jae, Yoo Na Moo, So Ju Yeon, Kim Joo Heon, and more.

Without a doubt, the medical K-drama concluded the season with a new milestone. As mentioned by a media outlet, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide ending of 16.8 percent, marking a new all-time high.
With this, "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 16, has maintained double-digit ratings throughout the season.
Besides its highest rating, the series also sustained its reign as the most-watched show on SBS during weekends.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 16 Recap
After 16 episodes, the medical K-drama reached its finale, giving viewers an entertaining and, at the same time, satisfying ending.
The finale episode continued with the senior Doldam staff looking for Kim Sa Bu, who is nowhere to be found. It was after the patients and the rest of the medical staff needed to evacuate both Doldam and the Trauma Center after a wildfire was about to hit the nearby areas.
Thankfully, head nurse Oh knew exactly where to find Kim Sa Bu. He was in one of the surgery rooms and seemed to be reminiscing about how life-changing Doldam is.
However, Ms. Oh mentioned that there are things that are beyond their control, but that doesn't mean things will have to end.

Fortunately, the wildfire got under control after it rained in the area.
As the team thought they had moved on from a challenging phase, the remaining medical staff faced a crisis after Assemblywoman Ko drove his two bodyguards, who were severely hurt from the fire.
The politician saw how Kim Sa Bu and the rest of the staff did the surgery throughout the night.
At this point, she saw how dedicated the medical staff was, with Kim Sa Bu reiterating how important hospitals are, especially in urban areas.
The next day, director Park received surprising news regarding the Trauma Center. Because of Assemblywoman Ko, they received a budget for the new establishment, which only means that they can now cater to more patients.
On the other hand, Seo Woo Jin finally proposed to Cha Eun Jae, while Nurse Park and Dr. Yoon got back together.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kang received a special gift for Kim Sa Bu. It was a scalpel that Master Kim would have given to his first student, who happens to be Jang Dong Hwa's older sister.
Meanwhile, the finale episode hinted at the possibility of "Dr. Romantic" season 4 as Dr. Yoon Seo Jung, played by Seo Hyun Jin, arrived at Doldam.
