‘Revenant’ Episode 2: Kim Tae Ri & Oh Jung Se Work Together To Solve Murder Mystery

Jung Hyun Woo's Killer
In "Revenant" episode 2, Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se) gets in trouble when he enters the dead child's home. He finds a small child trapped inside a window pane.
Jung Hyun Woo's (Kim Jung Chul) parents then threaten him to leave. Meanwhile, Goo San Young (Kim Tae Ri) has a flashback where Jung Hyun Woo jumps off a cliff.
On her way home, she begins seeing his spirit. He tells her about his younger sibling. Goo San Young was told that the deceased always talked about his non-existing brother.
Goo San Young then rushes to Jung Hyun Woo's house and saves the child that Yeom Hae Sang saw inside their home. The dead child's spirit fades as his parents get arrested by the police.
Goo San Young's Heartache
Despite the eventful night, Goo San Young refuses to believe in evil spirits. She finds herself scratching a doll's face with a knife.
Suddenly, she comes to her senses and faces an evil spirit. Goo San Young decides to come to her grandmother's home to collect the cursed object his late father left her.
Unfortunately, the evil spirit had arrived earlier than her, and had imitated her appearance before killing Goo San Young's grandmother and burning important books about the afterlife.

The detectives then believe that it's a serial murder case as the recent murder victims all share the same burn marks in their wrists.
Yeom Hae Sang Begins Investigation
Goo San Young and Yeom Hae Sang realize that the book that the evil spirit burned is a map of the evil spirit's origin.
The duo traces the map and arrives at a place where young female children are taken to be isolated from the world in 1958.
A woman who was dressed in a grandiose gown holds a cursed object in her hand. In a private room, the lady gives a young woman a plate of raw meat.

The starving girl tries to sate her hunger but the lady stabs her in her chest, killing her in vain. The blood of the young girl then splashes on the cursed object, raising tension.
