Kim Tae Ri's 'Revenant' Debuts With High Score

On June 24, Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung's "Revenant" finally made its debut after the verge of long suspense.

The series is among the few occult horror releases in the first half of 2023. Much to fans' delight, "Revenant" didn't disappoint.

It follows the life of a young woman who gets possessed by evil spirits and a folklore professor who helps to save the other from being taken away by supernatural entities.

"Revenant" marks Kim Tae Ri's first two-character role since her debut, and it's also her first ever acting project with seasoned actor Oh Jung Se.

It's the most anticipated work of the year and during its premiere, "Revenant" scored a nationwide rating of 10% for two consecutive episodes, peaking at 14% across cable channels.

The series even secured the No. 1 spot among other weekend dramas. With this, the production unit couldn't hide their excitement as they reached their goal for its first week.

During the press conference, Kim Tae Ri and the rest of the cast hoped to record double digit scores for its first two episodes and thankfully, the work didn't disappoint.
