'Lies Hidden in My Garden' Episode 6 Recap

The episode began with the background story of Lee Soo Min, the lifeless teenager in Joo Ran's backyard.

In hopes of getting Park Jae Ho blackmailed, she gets close to his son, Park Seung Jae.

Lee Soo Min managed to persuade the boy to visit their house, only to reveal her identity. She showed Sung Jae a positive pregnancy test, saying that his dad, Park Jae Ho, was the father of her unborn child and would return to their home with his sibling.

Stunned by the bombshell revelation, Park Sung Jae accidentally pushed her off the stairs, causing her to lose consciousness.

Minutes later, Park Jae Ho found the unconscious Lee Soo Min lying near the staircase, while Sung Jae was at the corner, speechless.

In order to protect his son, he decided to bury the dead body in their backyard.

After hearing the story, Joo Ran wanted to reveal it to the police. That is because she knew that Sung Jae would live in guilt if she didn't do the right thing.

At this point, Joo Ran was convinced to tell the police the truth. However, at the police station, Moon Joo Ran changed her mind after seeing Choo Sang Eun.

The only thing she mentioned was that Sang Eun got the phone number of Lee Sung Min.

Meanwhile, Choo Sang Eun was told by the police that Kim Yoon Beom's case was not murder by suicide since it was found that he had a lot of financial issues, which might be the reason he committed suicide.

At this point, Sang Eun was devastated that she wouldn't be able to get the insurance money.

In the last scene in "Lies Hidden in My Garden" episode 6, Moon Joo Ran learned the truth regarding Lee Soo Min's death.

As Park Sung Jae confessed, he revealed that it was his father who killed Lee Soo Min.

"I saw it with my eyes," he said.
