Park Bo Gum will be having back-to back K-dramas after in the coming year. 

After successfully completing his mandatory military service and getting officially discharged on April 2022, the South Korean hearthrib is booked and busy with various projects. 

From returning as host at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards to having his on-screen comeback  for the star-studded variety show "Young Actors' Retreat," it is clear how the public missed Bogummy.

Interestingly, one of his upcoming projects is the K-drama "Good Boy."

Park Bo Gum Offered to Play the Boxer Role in K-drama 'Good Boy'

According to a media outlet, he was selected to play the lead role in "Good Boy."

Helmed by "The Good, Bad Mother" and "Beyond Evil" director  Shim Na Yeon and penned by Lee Dae Il, of "Life on Mars" and "Chief of Staff" seasons 1 and 2, it depicts the story of aspiring Olympians who became police officers after experiencing major setbacks in their careers.

Instead of wearing medals, they chose to wear police IDs around their necks as they formed a special team to respond to heinous and violent crimes. 

Park Bo Gum is offered the role of the main character, Yoon Dong Ju, a former boxer who is among the members of the special team. 

With the interesting role, it raises anticpated about how he will be able to play the role of an amateur athlete.

As mentioned, the upcoming K-drama "Good Boy" is just one of Bogummy's projects in the coming future.

Park Bo Gum's K-drama Comeback is With IU

Besides this, fans are also looking forward to his upcoming team-up with IU.

The duo will play childhood friends in the romance drama "You Have Done Well."

It will be his return to the small screen after the hit K-drama "Record of Youth."

Set to be released in 2025, IU and Park Bo Gum will be joined by award-winning actress Moon So Ri and "The World of the Married" star Park Hae Joon, who will be playing their older versions.

Interestingly, global fans could watch the upcoming K-drama since the 12-part episode series will air on Netflix. 

Meanwhile, apart from Park Bo Gum's K-drama with UI, he will also make his musical debut.

According to a report, the actor will have his first ever musical and will be joining the cast of "Let Me Fly."

He will be portraying the role of young Nam Won, who struggles to recall his past.
